White linen party for Joe was just
perfect for summer time, not to mention
great food and the good friends ready
to celebrate the BIG 40...

Creating an atmosphere for an event is easier than you might think. Whether you spend a small fortune or virtually no money at all, you have the same opportunity to create a pleasant, comfortable environment for your guests. An event should reflect the persons personality, for example Joe is Latin, it was easy for me to come to the conclusion we should have a fun Latin music, keeping in mind our budget I am an expert at camouflaging the budget (unless it's excessively skimpy) without sacrificing the concept. We decided to make it a white linen party. First I placed candles everywhere and used simple white folding chairs, white linen for the tables and the patio was draped with white panel hanging from the ceiling and down on to the poles. The decoration was simple but once the guest arrived all wearing white well, they just became part of the decorations. The atmosphere was set and you can feel the energy entering the party. Next was the entertaining keeping with the Latin beat, nothing heats up a party space quite like Latin beat the party started with Mariachi, and ended with tango, meringue, flamenco, and salsa. The guest really cut loose dance till late in the evening. Poor Julian (DJ) he really thought he could get ready to go home by 11:00..
What a night, the party was a success.

The most rewarding aspect of my job is participating in the joy that a real celebration holds. I cannot possibly translate into words the emotion of witnessing such bliss. A husband's genuine shock when he walks into his surprise birthday party...and the smile his wife can't hide at pulling it off. The tears of happiness when several generations gather to toast one another "and express appreciation for their lives as a family and friends.
"CELEBRATION" Celebration" is one of my favorite words. For me, celebration is a way life. If you really think about it, everyday deserves a party you don't need a reason to do some-thing special, because tomorrow is never guaranteed.
